As a beauty editor, it’s my job to keep an eye on the colors dominating every season. Oh, you thought butter yellow was only for the summer dresses in your closet? Think again. The first place many people try out a trending color is usually on their nails. So the coolest shades of summer are already adorning the fingers of every cool person right now. And my first trendspotting of summer 2026? Coral nails.

I just went to NYC’s Governor’s Ball music festival with a fresh set of coral nails (press-ons, to be exact), and about a dozen people told me how much they loved my nail polish. So much so, I had people asking the exact shade I was wearing, so they could order on Amazon and take to their next nail appointment. That’s some damn good influence, if I do say so myself. But to make it easy on everyone, I decided to round up a bunch of coral nail polishes I love right now, whether you’re a DIYer or want some shade inspo for your nail appointment.

The mid-tone hue is the Goldilocks of all corals: not too pink, not too orange, not too bright, not too muted. It’s just right.

More pastel than bright, this shade from Sally Hansen’s 10-free, plant-based line is fab for a subdued look.

ZOYA polishes glide on like butter and don’t require a zillion coats to build up. Try this summery shade on your fingers or toes this season.

Part of OPI’s Supergirl collection, this fiery coral screams summer.

Of all of my nail polishes, Olive & June’s are easily the most long-lasting (and the easiest to apply if you’ve got their signature Poppy bottle handle).

If your vibe is more orange than pink, try this extra-bright shade from Revlon that requires no base coat or top coat.

This one, though, is for you if you want a pinkier tone. It also happens to be in one of our Holy Grail Award-winning formulas.

Listen, if you aren’t coordinated with a nail polish brush, just stick on these coral press-ons (that’s precisely what I did in the image above!).
